Magic 8 Ball in PHP and GD

The titles of these last few of posts have been a little uncharacteristically unimaginative I feel. I’ll have to make up for it in the next one, perhaps invent a word or two. Anyway, all of a sudden I’ve decided to play with PHP and GD, to see how much I could remember after having not written any in a few months. The results of an evening’s work is this:

The hardest bit was writing a word wrapping function, as GD is sorely lacking in the text functionality department. RMagick looks like a much more capable and better-documented module, so I’ll probably be playing with that next.
On the way to work this morning I passed this van:
It’s made of grass! Bet it’s not very green though :(
