Revengeful Lobster

Oooooo! Loads of new stuff! First of all, The site has had a few new changes, as you might have noticed… If only my web site was a piece of coursework, the amount of effort and learning I’ve put into this has exceeded many projects. We are beginning to see:

• Themes! I’ve designed a new table layout, which is taken from a Window Manager theme from Gnome on Linux.
• Cookies! Cookies were actually amazingly easy. There is a really nifty perl module which handles them all really nicely.
• Little bits and pieces! Little tweaks here and there, stuff like boom box name remembering.

The themes are extremely funky, because the only thing that changes is the stylesheet that is loaded. There will be more coming soon… I have a few ideas, so stay tuned! Cookies have made things very interesting, so I’ll be doing more stuff with those in the near future. In other words, expect random changes!

Anyway, enough of strange geek-banter! It has no place in this paragraph! I returned home for the weekend, to attend Jemma’s 18th birthday. It was a great party, I met up with some peeps I hadn’t met in ages. My dad was brave enough to let me borrow his nice 3.1 Megapixel digital camera, so many pictures were taken. They shall be appearing on Jemma’s website soon (hopefully tonight), they came out really well.

As for commentary about the event, well, I’m not sure how much is repeatable (or even legal…), but suffice to say, much merriment was held by all. There was healthy drunken fun aplenty, memories I’m sure that will not be forgotten soon.

Jemma got to show off her moped, and I must say it is very funky. There shall also be pictures of that soon on her site. Talking of pictures, I try to include at least one with new posts recently. but I must dash off to anime society now. When I return, there will probably be a pic here for you to gander at.
