Revengeful Lobster

Hello there! Yes, I know I haven’t updated in a while, but you may have noticed the reason already. I now have my comments system up and running! It has taken a while to re-learn the basics of perl, start learning all about HTML forms, and CGI. But, put them all together, mix with a lot of helping from Daf, and sprinkle with testing and PING! You can now spurt randomness on this site just like I do! Please be gentle, there are still a few things I need to iron out, so please report any bugs you find.

Well, I’ve been wanting to update for serveral days now, but I couldn’t write anything until the comments project was over. Well it just so happens that quite a bit has been going on! Since the last update, there’s been more snow, Linux works properly on my laptop, I went home for a weekend, an anime DVD arrived for me, and many other things.

Just for you, here is a preview of some of the new pictures I will be uploading:

Oooooo…. I wonder what it could be? Well, you’ll just have wait until I can be bothered to create a new page and thumbnail set. I have gone through a lot of the site, tidying things up again, and making things work for the new format. Unfortunately it means any old links won’t work, which won’t bother most, but for those of us who follow the teachings of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) like a religion, it’s a Bad Thing.

I know this is going to be a short post, especially when there is so much for me to be talking about, but hours of coding really take the writer out of a person. I hope this page makes some sense. Well, I’ll stop for now, and hopefully my creation will still be standing when I come back.
