Low-quality Shelving

The Roomproject has celebrated its 1st birthday! Check out the banner on my front page to watch a rather good video about the progress of my brother’s room. Who knows what I’ll have in store for you when this site turns one year old…

I promised to Jemma that I would mention her more on this site, and in better light, as her previous apperences aren’t particulary ego-boosting. I mean, she is my girlfriend, for crying out loud. She should have a whole TLD named after her! http://www.jam.jemma would be cool, if expensive. Well, her birthday is coming up, so I’ll do the next best thing and buy her her own dotcom. I love Jem to bits, but her being 100 miles away does suck quite a bit. If I find some pictures of her, you may get to see what she looks like…

Speaking of pictures, Chris, the guy who basically runs the anime society has asked if I will produce more membership card images for the website. I agreed, even knowing that I still have various projects of my own to work on, but it should be fun. I wanted to get on the commitee last year, but didn’t, so perhaps this little task will help my public image for the next elections. Here are some of the images I chose:

<img src=”images/logpics/SquareAsmall.jpg” alt=”FuriKuri” /> <img src=”images/logpics/SquareCsmall.jpg” alt=”Full Metal Panic” /> <img src=”images/logpics/PostboxAsmall.jpg” alt=”GITS:SAC” /> <img src=”images/logpics/PostboxBsmall.jpg” alt=”Azumanga Diaoh” />

It’s not often I give software a second chance after I pass judgement on it, but I am giving Winamp 3 another go, hoping that bug fixes are more plug-ins are right around the corner. Winamp 3 seems to have overloaded itself in terms of features, trying to take over your system a la mediaplayer. This time round, I’m going to be in control.

Coursework projects are popping out of nowhere, work is going to pile up soon, I can tell. Things aren’t looking too bad, but weekends are starting to get rationed, to allow me some free time in the evenings to go to societies….?! Sorry, Daf just walked in and asked if he could have one of my shelves. I handed him the piece of wood in question, and he left in a fashion that requires my silence in the matter. Gentlemen, raise your glasses and consider for a moment what the world would be like without low-quality shelving.
