Muddy Yams D?

Well, I’ve successfully altered all my html pages so that they use a linked css page, instead of all of them holding the same code. I also changed the names around, to have YYMMDD instead of MMDDYY. So for anyone who has written scripts to download new updates based on the date (yeah, right), you better change them!

Everyone in the house seems to have disappeared, I woke up pretty late today (3pm), and nobody is around. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that our Carbon Monoxide detector has been quite dark recently… No, but really, it has. It isn’t black, but the indicator is darker than it should be. I suspect that our 20 year-old boiler has probably been releasing tiny amounts of the stuff for many years now, and I think the past mortality rate of tenants was fairly promising. But we are still going to get someone to look at it, to put some minds to rest.

It’s nice when you talk to people you haven’t made contact with for a long time. Recently I’ve been talking online to a friend who lives in America, who mysteriously disappeared for a year. It was cool to find out what he’s been up to, and that he’s enjoying life still. He introduced me to his new girlfriend, who is also very funky. She’s very modest about her artwork, and is being very kind in letting me use a piece to design a new background wallpaper.

You may have noticed the front page looks slightly different. With the addition of a new banner link, I thought perhaps links would be better organised that way. Anyway, Smiff is my homie. We go way back. He had about a six year lead on my HTML skillz, and has been coding for quite a while. I like the work he does. Check out his site, it has a groovy background. But be wary, he does like to suddenly scrap ideas and totally redesign.

Right, I suppose I should do something about food then!
