Reading in the Snow
The first images are up! I have uploaded a selection of pictures of Reading in the snow. They were taken either on campus, or on our road. Please excuse the slight blurriness, it is difficult to hold a camera still in the freezing cold, and I have yet to fully understand how well my camera handles responds to various light sources.
The pictures of Matt and Daf were taken not by me, but by Matt and Daf (I’m sure you can work out who snapped who). There is still some of that snow on the ground now, left over from about three days ago, so as you can tell, it has been very cold these past few days. Let’s hope the it decides to snow again soon! I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen more than an inch of snow in England.
The first week of term is over, one tenth completed. We are already being told to start thinking about our final year projects, which is fair enough. I have been pondering over mine for a while, I have decided that I would really like to do something with distributed computing, or at least networking in some form or another.
I’ll be playing around with my web site’s style sheets for a while, changing small things here and there. I’ve also noticed that with the coming of 2003, my naming scheme for my HTML documents means that they are no longer in order. I may have to fiddle with things to make them easier to work with. I may even re-design the whole site layout, but I want to work with this one first.
Enjoy the cold as best you can…
